The Castner glacier tour showcases one of interior Alaska's finest offerings! The tour includes an impressive road trip, featuring views of 2 different mountain ranges. It also includes a 2.2 mile hike across a snowfield, and entry to an ice cave (weather permitting)! On the return trip to Fairbanks, we have an additional 30 minute stop at the Santa house in North Pole. The tour will make 2 stops at a convenience store, both in Delta Junction. Food, beverages, and snacks are available for purchase. Restrooms are also available.Dress warm and in layers. We highly recommend wearing a warm jacket, hiking or snow boots, snow pants, thermal layers, gloves, hat, face protection, warm socks, etc. Cleats are available if desired.Bottled water is provided.All photos are included in the tour!
